The Discover card says IDALL AI. Two-point-six-k. Nine dollars a month. Cinematic storytelling.
The slug is idall-lite-1529.
Lite. They printed it in the URL. The cheap door is wearing a name tag that says cheap door, and the original room opened first, costs $79, and has 58 people in it.
I am not writing the $9 card as the whole school. That is the whole review.
That’s the setup. Here’s the pitch, in their mouth, before I start throwing receipts.
Learn how to create professional AI films, commercials, and music videos, even if you’ve never made a film before. Top 1% community builder on Skool. Only 20 spots left at $9 a month. Only 10 annual spots left at $79 a year. A step-by-step roadmap. A portfolio. Character consistency and storytelling. Weekly feedback and challenges. Paid project opportunities. Beginner-friendly. 200+ production-ready prompts, templates, and workflows.
Tired of amateur AI video. Tired of no professional workflow. Tired of not knowing how to turn this into paid work. Create AI commercials, films, and music videos that land clients. Built by the studio behind Skechers, L’Oréal, ANTA, and 40+ brands. Join 2,600+ creators. Lock in $9 for life before the price increases to $69 a month. Seven-day money-back guarantee.
That’s their Lite about page, fetched August 15, 2026. Not a classroom I sat through. Not a client list I audited.
I still rename files final-final-v3 and then open the wrong one. You think I’m landing a L’Oréal spot from a $9 feeder?
Read on for my Darren Maen / IDALL AI review.
Who even is Darren Maen?
Public name: Darren Maen. Official Skool owner @darren-maen-4330. He joined November 21, 2025 at 12:07 PM PT. Timezone field: Asia/Dubai. Location field: empty. LinkedIn scrape: Dubai, UAE. Official socials on the owner record: IG @darrenmaen, LinkedIn /in/darren-maen, site efirmedia.com. Facebook / Twitter / YouTube: empty. IG was login-walled this pass. I am not inventing a follower count.
Skool bio, his words: creative director and founder of Efir Media. 15+ years in digital. Worked with Huda Beauty, Skechers, Sephora. Building IDALL, AI tools for creators. Self-reported. Owner JSON the same afternoon: 5,123 followers, owns 3 groups, mrrStatus liftoff. Liftoff is a Skool badge, not audited MRR. Followers are not paying members.
LinkedIn headline: Co-Founder and Art Director at Efir Media. Co-Founder of Idall.ai. “No prompts, no studios.” That clause conflicts with Lite selling 200+ prompts. Behance (darrenmaen, since 2012) lists Philly and Barcelona teams. Age, education: not found. Do not invent a film school so the bio has a dorm.
The agency partner is Yury Belazor. Efir’s about page lists him CO-FOUNDER next to Darren. Day job, his LinkedIn: President/CEO of Belazor Technologies, Inc., wireless construction, Greater Philadelphia. He is not documented as an IDALL teacher. Do not write him into the classroom.
Efir Media is a digital design / branding / e-com shop. LinkedIn company: founded 2017, 1-10 people, Folcroft / Philly addresses in the wild (434 Primos Ave, 19032). EFIR VFX is the Dubai post shop. Darren is co-founder of both. No IDALL LLC found this pass. Also not the Danish / Italian / Korean IDALL-named companies. Wrong kitchens. Close the tab.
The $9 room is not the $79 room
People mash these. Don’t.
IDALL AI (Lite) is the consumer Skool. The Discover card. skool.com/idall-lite-1529. Created January 17, 2026. Live JOIN $9/month. Affiliate cut: 50%. Official JSON, August 15, 2026 PT: 2,681 members, 3 admins, 2,377 posts, 18 courses, 129 modules, 5.0 on 9 reviews. Classroom titles were not visible logged-out. I am not inventing lesson names.
IDALL Pro is the original paid room. skool.com/idall. Created November 21, 2025, about six minutes after Darren’s account. Official JSON the same day: 58 members, 4 admins, 142 posts, 4 courses, 72 modules, zero in-app reviews. Live JOIN: $79/month. About copy on the same page: 200 PRO spots at $89/month, annual $480/year, “Join 2,600+ creators already inside IDALL.” That 2,600 is Lite’s census on a 58-person room. Direct access to Darren is Pro copy. Do not promise it at $9. An earlier same-day fetch still showed JOIN $63 and a founding $49. A www3 cache listed 57 / $89. Date them.
IDALL AI Business Circle is the $199 closet. idall-ai-business-circle-4964. Created January 31, 2026. Official JSON: 2 members, $199/month, 1 course, 1 module, 1 post. About: business-first, personal mentorship, “not a course,” framework for an AI agency. Repeats Huda / ANTA / Skechers / Sephora. Not on the Discover card. Not the $9 SKU. Two people and one post. Easy to over-write as a mastermind.
idall.ai is the official marketing site. Same brand. Different stickers. “Make cinema. With AI.” “2,624 of 5,000 founding spots.” Mentors are AI characters: Koko live, the rest “SOON.” Lite there: $9/mo or $79/yr. Pro there: $99/mo or $399/yr plus Director’s Framework. Raise: Lite “rises to $19/mo” at 5,000. Not Skool’s $69 line. A visible FAQ asks “I’m already a Skool member?” Same funnel. The accordion did not expand. I am not inventing the answers.
Got it? Good. Don’t pay $9 thinking you just bought Darren. Don’t pay $79 thinking you just bought the $99 site sticker. Don’t pay $199 thinking you just bought a packed room.
The price is a play with three stages
Nine dollars is on the porch. Everything else is a costume change. Live Lite join, August 15, 2026 PT: $9. Live Pro join: $79. The $69 vs $19 raise is their threat, two versions. “Spots left” is marketing, not a filed cap. Lite is already past the old 2,350 trigger and still $9. No public annual SKU on the Lite JSON this pass even though the about page sells $79/year. Confirm checkout on the day you click.
| Surface | What it says | Vibe |
|---|---|---|
| Discover card | $9/mo, 2.6k. Slug idall-lite-1529. | Feeder |
| Lite about + JOIN | $9/month. Annual $79/year (10 spots). Raise to $69. “20 spots left.” | Official |
| idall.ai Lite | $9/mo or $79/yr. Raise to $19/mo at 5,000. Prints 2,624 / 5,000. | Different raise |
| Pro JOIN button | $79/month. 58 members. | Live |
| Pro about (same page) | $89/month or $480/year. “200 PRO spots at $89.” | Conflicts |
| idall.ai Pro | $99/mo or $399/yr | Conflicts again |
| Pro, earlier same-day fetch | JOIN $63. Founding $49 locked for life. “Start at $9.” | Already stale |
| Business Circle | $199/month, 2 members | Closet |
| Directories | Skoolmakers $9 / 2,663. SkoolRadar $9 / 2.3k, old 2,350→$69. NextStair also lists a $49 “Creative AI Systems.” | Stale / affiliate |
Fetched August 15, 2026 PT. Lite: skool.com/idall-lite-1529. Pro: skool.com/idall. Site: idall.ai. $9, $19, $49, $63, $69, $79, $89, $99, $199, $399, and $480 all appear. Date every sticker.
The 7-day line is Lite-only copy
Live Lite about: “7-day money-back guarantee.” Official, August 15, 2026. Pro about: no refund sentence. Business Circle about: none. idall.ai: “cancel anytime.” Cancel is not a refund. No TOS URL found. Directories copy the Lite 7-day. Quote the Lite line. Do not extend it. Do not promise “never charged.”
The review pile is a whisper
No Kyle video found this pass. Lite in-app: 5.0 / 9 reviews. Public about returned five, all 5 stars, all still paying. Visible body this pass, Richard Dietl: “The COURSE IS THE BOMB. IT REALLY HELPDS YOU GET INTO AI FOR VIDEO.” Tiny n. Pro and Business Circle: 0 reviews. idall.ai testimonials (Rey S, Shandra Cohen) are marketing, first names, their site.
Skoolmakers 4.3 and SkoolRadar’s 2.3k / 13-course snapshot are stale or affiliate. NextStair’s $49 “Creative AI Systems” is old Pro founding copy, not a fourth school. Trustpilot: no IDALL / Darren / Efir profile. Hits were Idially.com and Ideall.ro. Wrong companies. Reddit: none. BBB: none. Lawsuit / FTC: none found. Quiet file. Absence is not a halo.
The posters and the case list are not the same movie
Skool, idall.ai, and Darren’s bio sell Skechers, L’Oréal, ANTA, Sephora, Huda Beauty. “The studio behind” those names. “40+ brand campaigns.” Efir’s own public case list this pass: Ultraviolet Way, Lemon Digital, JKJ insurance, Oplae, Belazor Technologies, RÊVER jewelry, Spiral Scout, Hydracup, Overall Murals, Trick&Mortar, Base3, Rickhouse, TGAS, Klockchain, Untie Nots, Warmies, Glassbox. That is the documented book of work. Mid-market websites. Not a Skechers reel.
What I could verify: CSSDA’s 2019 Designer of the Year post lists Efir Media under DOTY Special Kudos, Top 10 Agencies. Real page. Kudos, not the Best Agency trophy (Red Collar). Awwwards.com/sites/efir-media is an Honorable Mention dated April 3, 2019. Behance and Efir about do not agree on the WOTD / HM counts. Do not flatten.
The only named brand-film campaign with a primary source this pass is Darren’s own September 16, 2023 LinkedIn post about Huda Beauty Easy Bake Pressed. 14 reactions. No Huda press release. Do not write “studio of record.” idall.ai features Vincent Perez, Echoes of the Silent Planet (Cannes AI Film Awards 2026 HM). The film exists. Perez’s public snippets name Epic AI Studio, not IDALL. Bruno Mendonça’s Sweet Poison (feat. AIRA) is a track credit, not Greenfield’s school.
Wrong kitchen (do not mash)
AI Video Bootcamp is Riley and Mateo. Live /aivideobootcamp, 26.6k / $9. Ai Filmmaking is Jamie Heinrich. Live /filmmaking, $7 / 6,779. AI Realism Academy is Trevor Greenfield. Live /airealismacademy, $9. Not Bruno’s “feat. AIRA.” UBC AI is a branding-course spin-off, /ubcai, $25. CapCut Creator Bootcamp is Bryan Tiau. Editing, not generative film. Not Ed Pauley. Not Leonardo Schwartz. Not Darren Hardy. Not Darren Mann. Wrong kitchen. Close the tab.
Who this is for (and who should skip)
This is for you if:
- You already wanted to mess with AI film and $9 is coffee money you can lose without calling your mom
- You can read a three-room menu and not confuse Lite, Pro, and a $199 closet
- You understand the generation tools still bill you on the side, and “200+ prompts” is a pack, not a studio
- You wanted a cheap room with a real (small) award-winning web/VFX shop on the tin, not a hidden $8,400 closer
Skip if:
- You thought the Discover card was the whole school. The slug says Lite. Pro launched first.
- You need the 7-day line on Pro or the Circle. It is Lite-only copy. No TOS URL.
- You thought “studio behind Skechers” meant Efir’s public case list is a brand-film reel. It isn’t.
- You landed here because of Riley, Heinrich, Greenfield, UBC, or CapCut. Wrong kitchen.
Verdict?
Darren Maen is a real agency art director with a real Folcroft / Philly web shop, a real Dubai VFX company, and a real 2019 CSSDA Top 10 Agencies kudos. He opened a $79 Skool first, then a $9 feeder with “lite” in the slug, then a $199 closet with two people in it. Live August 15, 2026 PT: Lite 2,681 / $9. Pro 58 / $79 JOIN. Circle 2 / $199. The marketing site wants $19 later and $99 for Pro. The Skool Lite about wants $69 later. Pro copy on the same page as the $79 button still says $89 / $480. $49 and $63 are still sitting in the same-day record.
Not a scam per se. Not a film school with a dean. Useful if $9 is a toy you already wanted and you can read a feeder. Price theater if you thought nine dollars bought Darren, the Director’s Framework, and a Skechers commercial on your résumé.
I’m good.
Q&A
Q: Is Darren Maen legit?
A: Real person. Real Skool face. Real Efir Media / EFIR VFX. Real CSSDA 2019 Top 10 Agencies kudos. Real official avatar in an idall shirt. The Skechers / L’Oréal / Huda posters are self-report. The 15+ years and “40+ brands” are self-report. Legit small shop. Spicy brochure. Those can both be true.
Q: Is IDALL AI a scam?
A: No regulator hammer, Trustpilot pile, BBB file, Reddit thread, or lawsuit this pass. I found a $9 feeder, a $79 Pro that launched first, a site that cannot pick a raise, Lite-only refund copy, and brand logos that do not match the public case list. Cheap Skool with a real web-shop résumé. Brochure on the posters. Not a fake company. Don’t flatten those.
Q: How much does IDALL cost?
A: Live Lite join is $9/month. Live Pro join is $79/month. Business Circle is $199/month. idall.ai prints Lite $9 / $79 yr and Pro $99 / $399 yr. Pro about says $89 / $480. An earlier same-day fetch still had $63 JOIN and a $49 founding price. Screenshot the cart. This number likes costumes.
Q: What’s the $69 vs $19 thing?
A: Two official threats. Lite Skool about: lock in $9 for life before $69/month, plus “20 spots left.” idall.ai: Lite rises to $19/mo at 5,000 members, and prints 2,624 / 5,000. Older Lite / SkoolRadar copy said after 2,350 members the price goes to $69. Lite is at 2,681 and still $9. “Soon” is doing a lot of work.
Q: Why is the Discover card not the school?
A: Because the slug is idall-lite-1529 and Pro at /idall opened November 21, 2025, two months earlier. Lite is the cheap door they built after. Pro about even borrows Lite’s 2,600+ census so a 58-person room reads like a festival.
Q: What’s in Lite vs Pro vs the $199 room?
A: Lite public list: roadmap, portfolio, character consistency, commercials / films / MVs, weekly feedback, paid-project teaser, 200+ prompts. JSON: 18 courses / 129 modules. Classroom gated. Pro: concept to edit, director craft, “direct access to Darren + the team.” JSON: 4 courses / 72 modules, 0 reviews. Circle: 2 members, 1 post, “not a course.” Do not collapse Koko, weekly feedback, and Darren into one mentor.
Q: Refund?
A: Lite about prints a 7-day money-back. Pro about does not. Business Circle about does not. idall.ai says cancel anytime. No TOS URL found off Skool. Cancel is not a hug. Favors are not a policy.
Q: Is he really the studio behind Skechers and L’Oréal?
A: That’s the pitch. Efir’s public case list is mid-market websites. CSSDA 2019 Top 10 Agencies is real kudos. The only named brand-film primary source this pass is his own 2023 Huda LinkedIn post. 14 reactions. No Huda press release. Do not write “studio of record.”
Q: Vincent Perez / Cannes?
A: The film exists. Honorable Mention, AI Film Awards Cannes 2026. idall.ai calls it member work. Perez’s public snippets this pass name Epic AI Studio, not IDALL. Marketing-site credit, not a student result I can audit.
Q: Reddit? Trustpilot? BBB? Kyle?
A: Nothing this pass. Same as my will to live most days. Idially.com and Ideall.ro are other companies. Do not borrow their stars.
Q: AI Video Bootcamp? Ai Filmmaking? AIRA?
A: Different kitchens. Riley/Mateo: 26.6k / $9. Heinrich: $7 LA filmmaker, real 2010 feature. Greenfield: Kidderminster $9 realism room. UBC AI: branding-course spin-off at $25. CapCut: editing, not generative film. IDALL’s documented differentiator is a 2019 CSSDA agency kudos and a 9 / 79 / 199 ladder. The differentiator they sell is the brand-client poster.
Q: Okay but I still wanna make money online without locking $9 for life because one page said $69 and the other said $19.
A: Wild concept: build little local websites, rank them in Google, and rent the leads to real businesses. No “20 spots left.” No AI mentor named Koko. No Skechers poster sitting on a Folcroft case list.
It’s about as sexy as organizing the junk drawer… which is why filthy SEO goblins like me keep doing it.
If that quieter path sounds less insane than paying a feeder Skool nine dollars to teach you cinema, start at unemployable.org.
