The Flock Bird Together Review: Angela Schumpert’s $15 Skool For Foul-Mouthed Birders, A Printed 7-Day Trial And 20 Percent Annual, And A Perfect 5.0 From 8 Native Reviews

Angela Schumpert, The Berd Nird, official The Flock Bird Together cover in an orange tank with binoculars
Angela Schumpert, The Berd Nird. Official The Flock: Bird Together cover from skool.com/theflock: orange tank, binocular harness, “Find Birders Who Get You,” painted-bunting mark. Photographed person, not an AI face. Not Angie Shumpert of USC athletics.

Angela Schumpert calls herself The Berd Nird and sells a $15 Skool for people who want to swear at a painted bunting with friends.

South Carolina. Handle @angela-schumpert-3082. She joined Skool April 18, 2025, time zone America/New_York, and created The Flock: Bird Together three minutes later. Facebook field on the profile: angela.wadsworth.77. Site: theberdnird.com. Cover still: orange tank, binocular harness, “Find Birders Who Get You.”

That’s the person. Not Angie Shumpert from USC athletics. I looked. Different human. Different job. Different sport.

That’s the pitch, in her mouth, before I start throwing receipts.

Birding is better when someone understands your excitement. For birders of all levels. A friendly, interactive community of fun fucking birders to learn, make friends, and travel. Try free for 7 days. Get 20 percent off when you upgrade to annual. You don’t need more binoculars. Find your flock. Monthly Flock-Tail Hour: grab a beverage and have a bird-themed drink with us. A feed for wins and questions. Map meetups for local walks. Monthly live interviews with bird experts. Upcoming trips: come bird with me. Arizona. Costa Rica. Panama. Japan. Morocco. Spain. Australia. Join The Flock today and Liv, Laff, BERD.

I still need Merlin to tell a nuthatch from a chickadee. You think I’m treating a Spark Bird show-notes line about the Air Force like a DD-214?

Read on for my Angela Schumpert / The Flock: Bird Together review.

What you’re actually clicking: a public-sticker hobby Skool, not a sales-call closer. Live August 15, 2026: skool.com/theflock is $15/month, 308 members on Discover (rank 58) and in live JSON. Created 2025-04-18 UTC. Printed 7-day trial. Billing JSON annual $144 (20 percent off $180). Official /plans reprints about. No second monthly tier extracted. No refund TOS. Blog, July 4, 2025: “if you don’t like it you can fuck off and leave.” Native reviews: 8 at 5.0. Site: theberdnird.com.

Who even is Angela Schumpert?

One founder on the live Skool. Public name: Angela Schumpert. Brand: The Berd Nird. Live bio: creator of The Flock, “Obsessed with Birds for eight plus years-Live Laugh Bird!” Contact page: “I currently live in South Carolina.” Time zone America/New_York. Do not write a street home. Lake Murray / Bomb Island is a public roost she films, not a verified studio.

Same human. Skool since April 18, 2025. Contact: “I’m Angela.” IG @the_berd_nird and YouTube @Theberdnird on Skool and the site. Facebook angela.wadsworth.77 on Skool and Spark Bird. Branwyn: “Angela Schumpert, aka The Berd Nird,” South Carolina. Wadsworth looks like a prior or maiden surname. Do not write it as a second legal name unless she does.

Birding bio, hers: eight-plus years. Spark bird is a Blue Grosbeak at the feeder. Anhinga later tattooed on her forearm, per Branwyn. Official cover shows ink on the right arm. Self-reported. Spark Bird notes, February 27, 2026, add “Air Force and law enforcement investigation.” Not on her Skool bio or contact page. No unit, agency, rank, or years extracted. itsawildlife and an IG collab caption: “mum of four.” Also not on the Skool bio. No degree, LLC, SC SOS, EIN, or Skool email this pass. Contact is a form. Do not invent theberdnird@anything. The $15 room is her only created group. Qroo Spanish Crew is a membership, not her product.

Native reviews thank Alayna for keeping the feed fun and for “organizing it and making it happen.” Live room has 2 admins. Alayna Zenger’s CSM portfolio says she partnered with Angela and launched The Flock on April 28, 2025. That is Alayna’s page, not Angela’s about. She is not on the owner card. Do not write her as a co-owner.

Alayna’s launch date. Portfolio: partnered with Angela. Organizer / likely second admin. Not the owner.

Trial, then $15 in her mouth. July 4 trash-bird: 7-day trial, “fuck off and leave.” October 31 winter-birds: “$15 bucks a month.”
2026 trips
Costa Rica and Panama recaps are hers. First group trip recap March 29, 2026. Panama / Tranquilo Bay on the site YouTube. Not student audits.

This pass. Discover 308 / $15. JSON 308. Annual $144 in billing JSON. 8 native reviews at 5.0. About 16 months old.

Do not mash the logins

People see one blonde with binoculars and one word, “Flock,” and assume every bird room on the internet is this password. It is not.

The Flock: Bird Together is the review target. Private paid Skool at skool.com/theflock. Created April 18, 2025 UTC. Owner @angela-schumpert-3082. Join on Skool. No sales call. 2 admins. 8,784 posts this pass. 3 courses / 44 modules in platform metadata. Titles login-walled. I cannot audit the inside from the sidewalk.

The Berd Nird is the content brand, not a second tuition. Blog already prints “$15 bucks a month” plus the trial. No separate public course sticker found. Do not invent one. Printify merch is a different SKU. Not the Skool. Prices not pulled.

Group birding trips are add-on travel, not the $15. About lists Arizona, Costa Rica, Panama, Japan, Morocco, Spain, Australia. Costa Rica “first group trip” recap is hers, March 29, 2026. Panama / Tranquilo Bay recap is hers on the site YouTube. Live about this pass dates Arizona October 9 to 12, 2026 and Panama November 24 to December 1, 2027. Trip sticker is not on the Skool. Alayna’s portfolio $3,000-per-person Costa Rica is hers, not a checkout we opened. Do not write $3,000 as the live seat.

Wrong flocks. Flock Together is a UK outdoor movement at flocktogether.world. India’s The Flock newsletter is a free India-birds list, not Skool. The School of Life is Alain de Botton. Not a Skool. Not birding. Discover page 2 put Luke Spurgeon’s The school of life (278 / $10/mo this pass) immediately under The Flock. Seduction / manifestation / 9-5 escape. Zero birds. Drafting separately as /spurgeon/.

Wrong bird rooms, same aisle. The Garden Society is Aarin Chung, already live here, warm-climate sowing, not birding. Better Birders: 11 / Free. The Birding Lounge: 109 / Free. Twigs and Tides: 19 / $9. The Wildlife Lens: 41 / Free. The Patch | Everyday Wanders: 31 / Free. None of those are Angela’s login.

The $15 is people, not a field-guide degree

If you came here for Sibley chapter-and-verse, you’re in the wrong zip code. The fight she picked is “find birders who get you.” The cover says it in yellow. The about says “fun fucking birders.” The blog says if you don’t like the trial you can fuck off and leave. They are telling polite Audubon-serious buyers the tone on purpose. Fine to quote. I am not sanitizing it.

Official about, August 15, 2026: monthly Flock-Tail Hour, a wins-and-questions feed, map meetups, monthly expert interviews, plus that long trip calendar. No course catalog on about. Official /plans reprints the about blurb. “Premium” / “VIP” strings are i18n. groupMembershipProducts = 0. Do not invent a second monthly tier. A locker site still recycles weekly calls and “Birding Basics.” Unofficial. Stale.

Eight stars, two blank bodies, no Reddit

No Kyle video, Trustpilot, Reddit, BBB, lawsuit, or FTC file for this SKU this pass. Say none found. Do not recycle generic “Skool scam” threads or Flock Together (UK) press as her file.

What exists: Skool native reviews. 8 reviews, 5.0 average, fetched August 15, 2026. Public payload: 5 of 8. Two of those five are empty. I am not inventing the other three, or words for Summer Marshall (Tucson) or Stephanie Angel (Gastonia, NC). Robin Wisner, Virginia, August 15: kind, welcoming, Alayna keeps the feed fun, Angela adds events. All five public objects dated August 12 to 15, 2026. Platform math, not a Trustpilot pile.

Who this is for (and who should skip)

This is for you if:

  • You want birders who swear, not a field-guide degree, and $15 is money you can lose for a month
  • You will use the printed 7-day trial and cancel if Flock-Tail Hour is a Zoom with a cocktail emoji
  • You can live with a trip calendar from Arizona to Japan that is not included in the $15 sticker

Skip if:

  • You thought this was Flock Together (UK), India’s The Flock newsletter, Alain de Botton, Luke Spurgeon’s $10 school of life, or Angie Shumpert from USC
  • You wanted Better Birders, The Birding Lounge, Twigs and Tides, The Wildlife Lens, The Patch, or The Garden Society. Those are other logins.
  • You need a published refund window. They published a 7-day trial and “fuck off and leave.”
  • You wanted a second monthly tier or a locker-site syllabus. /plans reprints about.

Verdict?

Angela Schumpert is a real South Carolina content birder who opened a $15 Skool the same night she joined the platform, has an organizer who is not on the owner card, and printed the tone in the about and the blog. The $15 sticker is on Discover, about, and winter-birds. The $144 annual is in the billing JSON and matches the 20 percent line. The 7-day trial is printed. The refund is not. Costa Rica and Panama recaps are hers. Air Force, law-enforcement investigation, mum of four, and eight-plus years are hers. 308, 310, and SkoolRadar’s free 239 can all live in the same week because directories like a stale number.

Not a scam per se. I didn’t find a courtroom, a Trustpilot pile, a Reddit wake, or a Kyle video. I found a cheap hobby room with a foul mouth, a printed trial, a missing refund sentence, eight five-star reviews with two blank bodies, and a travel calendar that is not the tuition. Useful if you want people. Fifteen dollars is a sandwich. The fight is whether the sandwich is a feed or a seat on the Costa Rica bus.

I’m good.

Q&A

Q: Is Angela Schumpert legit?
A: Real person. Real South Carolina. Real Skool at @angela-schumpert-3082 since April 18, 2025. Real site at theberdnird.com. Eight-plus years, Air Force / law-enforcement investigation, mum of four: self-reported. Legit $15 hobby operator. Spicy brochure on the résumé. Those can both be true. Not Angie Shumpert of USC athletics / Lexington County. Different human.

Q: How much does The Flock cost?
A: Official August 15, 2026: $15/month on Discover, about, homepage, and the owner profile. Billing JSON annual $144/year, 20 percent off $180. /plans reprints about. No second public monthly tier extracted. Confirm the annual toggle on publish day. Live count is 308. Same-day index 310 and SkoolRadar’s free 239 are stale. Created 2025-04-18 UTC. About 16 months.

Q: Is The Flock a scam?
A: No regulator hammer, lawsuit, BBB, Trustpilot, or Reddit pile for this SKU this pass. I found a $15 sticker, a printed 7-day trial, no refund TOS, eight five-star native reviews with a thin public payload, and trip recaps written by the host. Thin receipts is not a fake company.

Q: Refund?
A: No The Flock refund TOS found. July 4, 2025 blog: 7-day trial, then “fuck off and leave.” Skool Help: cancel is not a refund. Do not invent a money-back.

Q: What’s actually inside?
A: About: Flock-Tail Hour, wins/questions feed, map meetups, monthly expert interviews, trip calendar. Metadata: 3 courses, 44 modules, 8,784 posts, 2 admins. Titles login-walled. Costa Rica and Panama recaps are hers, not the $15. Seat price is not on the Skool. Alayna’s $3,000 is her portfolio.

Q: Who is Alayna?
A: Reviews name her as organizer. Alayna Zenger’s portfolio: partnered with Angela, launched April 28, 2025. Two admins. Not on the owner card. Not a co-owner.

Q: Flock Together? School of Life? Better Birders?
A: No. Flock Together is UK. India’s The Flock is a newsletter. Alain de Botton’s School of Life is not birds. Luke Spurgeon’s Discover neighbor is a $10 manifestation Skool under this card, drafting as /spurgeon/. Better Birders: 11 / Free. Birding Lounge: 109 / Free. Twigs and Tides: 19 / $9. Wildlife Lens: 41 / Free. The Patch: 31 / Free. The Garden Society is Aarin Chung’s $7 climate Skool, already reviewed here.

Q: How do I stalk her like a normal person?
A: Skool skool.com/theflock. Profile @angela-schumpert-3082. Site theberdnird.com. IG @the_berd_nird. YouTube @Theberdnird. Facebook person angela.wadsworth.77. Don’t Baby Reindeer the woman. Trial it like an adult or don’t.

Q: Okay but I still wanna make money online without paying a South Carolina birder $15 to drink a Flock-Tail and stare at a map.
A: Wild concept: build little local websites, rank them in Google, and rent the leads to real businesses. No binocular harness. No annual 20 percent. No painted bunting.

It’s about as sexy as organizing the junk drawer… which is why filthy SEO goblins like me keep doing it.

If that quieter path sounds less insane than a sixteen-month-old $15 flock, start at unemployable.org.
