Aarin Chung spent twelve years teaching California real-estate agents how to post themselves into a pipeline. Then she sunset the $47 room, parked the Academy on a waitlist, and opened a $7 Skool for people whose seed packets were written for snow.
That’s the person. Orange County. Zone 10a. Same Skool account that used to wear Community Influencer® on the bio. Same Covina #4121 mailbox. Different clover.
That’s the pitch, in her mouth, before I start throwing receipts.
Built for the gardeners the seed packets forgot. Mild winters. Climate to harvest year-round if you know what to sow and when. Most planting calendars weren’t created for people like us. They were written for snow. Join 140+ founding members. Weekly Seed Starting Challenge: sow 15 minutes a week, harvest every day. This Week’s Sowing List. A seed-starting course. A gear kit. Ask the Gardener. A map so you can meet gardeners near you. Hosted by Aarin Chung: 12+ years in Zone 10a. Replaced the grocery store with a 20×20 garden. Zones 9-11. Year-round planning for $7 a month. Cancel anytime.
I still murder basil on a windowsill that gets “good light.” You think I’m treating a 20-by-20 grocery-store claim like a USDA audit?
Read on for my Aarin Chung / The Garden Society review.
/terms is a 404. Do not import Community Influencer’s Loom 30/120-day guarantee. IG / YT: @edimentalgardener.Who even is Aarin Chung?
One founder on the live Skool. Public name: Aarin Chung. Handle @aarin-chung, joined April 5, 2023. Orange County, CA. Live bio: founder of Edimental Gardener and The Garden Society. Created-by list this pass: Garden Society only.
Husband Howard is named on the garden site and smiles in the group OG. He is not listed as a Skool co-owner this pass. CI’s about page lists him as a content creator. aarinchung.com is now The Camping Log™. Side brand. Not this review.
Same human as Community Influencer®. Same Skool account, same husband, clover on Garden Society and the old CTC room, same virtual mailbox: 440 N Barranca Ave #4121, Covina, CA 91723 on the garden privacy page and on CI directory scrapes. Older profile index literally said “founder of Community Influencer®.” Do not write two Aarins.
Garden bio, hers: twelve years in Zone 10, desert then coastal SoCal. “My 20-by-20-foot garden grows enough food to replace the grocery store.” Self-reported. I did not weigh her tomatoes. Other résumé, also hers: USC political science, CSULB credential, licensed CA agent per LinkedIn (DRE number not extracted). 1:1 with agents in 2014. Community Influencer® from 2016 (LinkedIn) / founded 2017 (company card). Laguna. Book: The Real Real Estate Agent, 2023. She calls it best-selling. Agent-count pile does not agree: 15k, 14k+, 100K+, a thank-you scrape at 200K+. “World’s largest” RE learning community lives in that brochure. Stale Skool bio: 8-figure, top 5% on Skool. Dated self-report.
Do not mash the logins
People see one smiling couple and one clover and assume it’s one password. It is not.
The Garden Society is the review target. Private paid Skool at skool.com/garden. Created June 28, 2026. Owner @aarin-chung. Join on Skool. No sales call. 5 courses / 46 modules in platform metadata. Module titles login-walled. I cannot audit the inside from the sidewalk.
Edimental Gardener is the content brand, not a second tuition. Site, IG, YT, FB. Privacy mentions “masterclasses.” No separate public masterclass sticker found this pass. Do not invent one.
Content To Commissions™ Club is a different SKU, and it is CLOSED. Live August 15, 2026: 160 members, $47/month, CLOSED. Copy said it would sunset March 1, 2026. That date is already past. Search-index earlier the same day still said 244. Stale. Do not write $47 as the garden join.
Community Influencer® Courses is another SKU, also CLOSED. 438 members, Free. A dump of the digital products. Not a garden classroom. Community Influencer® Academy is off-Skool and on a waitlist. Older reviews quote $97 / $167 a month. Dated. Not the garden sticker. Do not flatten the $7 clover into the old $97-$167 Academy.
Wrong gardens, while we’re here. The Potted Garden Society is Donna at skool.com/gardening, free, containers. Edimental Gardens is Angelina Iyamah. Same word. Different human. The Garden Creator Hub is Marty Ware in Australia, winding down. DIY Gardening Academy is Megan Webb, North Texas Zone 8, $27/month this pass. Gardenary is Nicole Johnsey Burke, not Skool, not Aarin. None of those are this login.
The $7 is climate, not “learn to garden”
If you came here for generic raised-bed YouTube, you’re in the wrong zip code. The fight she picked is Zones 9-11. Mild winters. Seed packets written for snow. Her line: most calendars weren’t created for people like us.
Official about, August 15, 2026, seven promises: weekly seed challenge (15 minutes); this week’s sowing list; seed-starting course; gear kit; Ask the Gardener; local map; community feed. Site FAQ: beginners welcome; “Is The Garden Society really $7/mo? Yes.”
Premium is the real calendar. $7 is the challenge, the weekly list, the mini-course, the gear guide, the feed, the map. $9 unlocks monthly transplant, fertilization, prune-and-harvest, weekend tasks, and pest alerts. Two paying reviewers already tell you to buy Premium. That’s member copy from week six. Do not write Standard as if the monthly plans came in the $7 envelope.

Fetched August 15, 2026. Product: skool.com/garden. Plans: skool.com/garden/plans. Site: edimentalgardener.com. Confirm on publish day. The group is seven weeks old.
The trial is a button. The refund is a ghost.
Plans: TRY FOR FREE on both tiers. Group metadata: freeTrialEnabled: 1. No day-count field in the JSON this pass. Other $7 Skools print “7-Day FREE Trial.” This one does not. Do not invent a seven-day window.
Site FAQ: cancel anytime. No money-back line. Garden about: silent on refunds. Site /terms: 404. Privacy: hello@edimentalgardening.com, no refund clause. Effective date printed “June30 10, 2026.” Typo. Live host is edimentalgardener.com; privacy talks to EdimentalGardening.com. Messy. Not a courtroom.
Community Influencer does have a refund paragraph. Purchases on or after August 19, 2025: CTC 30-day money-back or Academy 120-day money-back if you stayed that long and you submit a Loom of completed coursework. That is the RE stack. Do not paste a Loom homework assignment onto a $7 sowing list.
Skool Help: refunds are the creator’s policy. Cancel is not a refund. She printed nothing on the garden page. That’s the fact.
Seven stars, seven weeks, no Reddit
No Kyle video this pass. No Trustpilot. No Reddit. No BBB. No lawsuit, FTC, or CA AG file found against Garden Society, Edimental Gardener, Aarin Chung, or Community Influencer this pass. The RE opp-reviews cover Community Influencer. Some mash her into affiliate marketing, which is their error. Do not treat those pages as a garden complaint file.
What exists: Skool native reviews. Group metadata 5.0 average, reviewCount 7, fetched August 15, 2026. Public payload returned 5 of 7. All five paying. All five stars. All posted August 11 to 13, 2026. I am not inventing the two missing bodies.
Marissa M: patient guide in a “hotter climate.” Katie Moreno, Wasco, CA: questions answered, group sowing at the same time. Danielle B: new in L.A., highly recommend the premium plan. Robin Lewis, Los Angeles: signed up Premium. Heidi Smith: climate-specific, “No more guessing.”
n = 7 versus 158 members. First six-ish weeks, clustered in 72 hours. Theme: she answers, warm-climate fit, Premium calendars. On-platform social proof. Not a mature review file.
Who this is for (and who should skip)
This is for you if:
- You garden in Zones 9-11, or a mild-winter pocket, and you are tired of packets written for a freeze
- $7 or $9 is money you can lose for a month, and you will cancel if the sowing list is a Pinterest board
- You want a host who answers, and you can live with a 20×20 grocery-store claim that is hers
Skip if:
- You thought this was Donna’s Potted Garden Society, Angelina Iyamah’s Edimental Gardens, Gardenary, Megan Webb’s $27 Academy, or Marty Ware’s hub
- You wanted the old $97-$167 Academy or the $47 CTC room. CTC is CLOSED. The Academy is waitlisted. This is a $7 climate Skool
- You need a published Garden Society refund window. They published TRY FOR FREE and cancel anytime.
/terms404s - You are in Zone 5. She did not build this for you
Verdict?
Aarin Chung is a real Orange County operator who built a twelve-year real-estate education stack and is sunsetting those rooms in public while she opens a seven-week-old $7 clover for Zones 9-11. The $7 sticker is on the card, the about page, and the site. The $9 Premium is the monthly calendar. The 20×20 grocery-store garden is hers. The “world’s largest” RE community is hers. 158, 157, and “140+ founding” can all live on the same day because marketing likes a round number that is already stale.
Not a scam per se. I didn’t find a courtroom, a Trustpilot pile, a Reddit wake, or a Kyle video. I found a cheap climate club, a trial button with no printed day count, a missing refund TOS, five five-star reviews in a 72-hour cluster, and a founder who already knows how to run a Skool. Useful if you plant in a mild winter. Seven dollars is a coffee. The fight is whether the coffee is a calendar or a sales line.
I’m good.
Q&A
Q: Is Aarin Chung legit?
A: Real person. Real Orange County / Zone 10a. Real Skool. Real Community Influencer® past. Same Covina #4121 mailbox on both brands. The 20×20 grocery-store garden, the 12-year Zone 10 claim, the 15k-200k agents, the “world’s largest” RE community: self-reported or marketing. Legit operator. Spicy brochure. Those can both be true.
Q: Wait. Community Influencer?
A: Same human. Different invoice. Community Influencer® is the RE brand. CTC at $47 is CLOSED. The free CI course suite is CLOSED. The Academy is waitlisted. The Garden Society is the $7 climate Skool she opened June 28, 2026. Do not flatten those into one tuition.
Q: How much does The Garden Society cost?
A: Official August 15, 2026: $7/month Standard on the card, the about page, and the site. Official /plans also sells $9/month Premium. No annual. Confirm on publish day. Do not write CTC’s $47 or the old Academy $97/$167 as garden tuition.
Q: 158, 157, or 140+?
A: Live about + JSON: 158 on August 15, 2026. Discover card the same day: 157. About still says “Join 140+ founding members.” Marketing, already behind the meter. Created June 28, 2026. Seven weeks. Do not invent a viral story.
Q: Is The Garden Society a scam?
A: I didn’t find a regulator hammer, a lawsuit, a BBB, a Trustpilot page, or a Reddit pile for this SKU. I found a $7/$9 sticker, TRY FOR FREE, cancel anytime, no garden refund TOS, a 404 on /terms, and seven five-star reviews in week six. Thin receipts is not a fake company. Don’t flatten those.
Q: Refund?
A: Garden pages: TRY FOR FREE, free trial enabled, day count not published, cancel anytime, no money-back sentence. /terms 404. Community Influencer’s Loom-gated 30/120-day guarantee is the RE stack. Do not import it. Do not promise seven days. She printed nothing on the garden page.
Q: What’s the difference between $7 and $9?
A: $7 Standard is the weekly challenge, sowing plan, mini-course, gear guide, community, and map. $9 Premium adds the monthly transplant / fertilize / prune-harvest / weekend-task / pest-alert calendars. Danielle B and Robin Lewis, both paying, both told you to get Premium. Member copy. Week six.
Q: What’s actually in the classroom?
A: I can’t see it from outside. Public about: seven promises. Platform metadata: 5 courses, 46 modules, 105 posts. Names login-walled this pass. I did not invent a syllabus.
Q: Is this The Potted Garden Society? Edimental Gardens? Gardenary?
A: No. Potted Garden Society is Donna, skool.com/gardening, free. Edimental Gardens is Angelina Iyamah. Gardenary is Nicole Johnsey Burke, not Skool. Megan Webb is Zone 8 Texas, $27. Marty Ware is a different person winding down. Same aisle. Different cash register.
Q: How do I stalk her like a normal person?
A: Garden: instagram.com/edimentalgardener, YouTube @edimentalgardener, site edimentalgardener.com, Skool skool.com/garden. RE handles (do not use as garden): IG @aarinchung, LinkedIn aarinchung. Garden email: hello@edimentalgardening.com. Don’t Baby Reindeer the woman. Trial it like an adult or don’t.
Q: Okay but I still wanna make money online without paying an RE educator $7 to tell me when to sow in Zone 10a.
A: Wild concept: build little local websites, rank them in Google, and rent the leads to real businesses. No sowing list. No Premium pest alert. No clover.
It’s about as sexy as organizing the junk drawer… which is why filthy SEO goblins like me keep doing it.
If that quieter path sounds less insane than a seven-week-old climate club, start at unemployable.org.
