The current Vince Reed ad does not open on a yacht. It opens on a brick wall.
Not drywall. An opt-in page. The kind that sits in front of your webinar like a bouncer who wants your email before he’ll let you hear the pitch. Vince calls those “brick wall pages.” He says they block 80% of paid traffic because they ask for the email before they’ve earned a second of attention.
Then the graphic: 54.02% up to 79.66%. Big, round, screenshot-looking conversion numbers with the energy of a carnival high-score you paid to play. Then a name-drop collage — Billy Gene, Jason Wojo, Laurel Portié, Dan Henry — tiled like a conference lanyard pile with better lighting. Then he points at a short VSL and tells you a lot of top marketers running webinar and VSL funnels are doing the exact same thing.
The exact same thing is this: the video starts immediately. A few minutes in, it locks. A form pops. You opt in to keep watching. Hostage mid-video form. Give the email or the player stays paused like a Netflix episode you didn’t pay for.
That’s the pitch. In his mouth, before I start throwing receipts.
You’re running ads to a webinar or a VSL. Traditional squeeze pages convert around 20%. He yanked the brick wall, switched to a video player built for advertisers, and lead conversions went to 50%, 60%, even 79%. That shift 4x’d lead flow and helped scale his most recent VSL funnel to over 1.72 million. Casper Method. 200% more leads. 51x faster sales. Watch the video.
I still click “remind me later” on iOS updates. You think I’m typing my work email into a locked VSL at minute four?
Read on for my Vince Reed / Eboov review.
Who even is Vince Reed?
Founder and CEO of eboov. Author of Internet Traffic and Leads. About page says he’s been helping entrepreneurs since 2008, founded multiple 7-figure businesses, and consults / runs ads with 9-figure companies. That’s self-reported. File it next to the vision board, not a 10-K.
Team page: SoCal, wife, two kids.
Origin story, the short version: 2007 real estate wipeout. Then internet marketing. Podcasts also float that he was a D1 athlete. I’m not in the film room with a clipboard. I’m repeating the lore they publish.
The agency era is SetUpMyAds — plus older names that show up in the same orbit: Internet Traffic Factory, iLEADrs. The get-started page still talks like a velvet rope: 500k+ annual income, 25k+ a month in ad spend, starts at 15k+ a month. Also: “SOLD OUT.” Old footer entity: Global Apps Network LLC.
Podcast intros like to call him a ClickFunnels Two Comma Club winner. Two Comma Club is a ClickFunnels community award you apply for. Application. Plaque fee. It is not an audited public filing. Do not treat it like the IRS hugged his P&L.
I called him a former network marketer in a 2022 Zuubly writeup. That’s prior reporting, not a new investigation. I’m not reopening the MLM attic tonight.
eboov’s own origin, from the about page: 2020. A student downloaded his courses. Hosting vendor shrugged. He built DRM. Then he “found” the funnel was the bigger problem. Acronym: Entrepreneur, Business Owner, Online Video. Which is a lot of words to spell a product that locks a VSL until you subscribe.
Team page names Shelley Belcourt (team coordinator; New Zealand; former student; CCU nurse for 18 years — their bio), Yas Sakka (automation; Canada; two decades corporate / Fortune 500 — their bio), and CMO Meg Brunson (site says 10+ years digital marketing including time at Facebook — that’s their bio, not my FOIA request).
What Eboov actually is
Not a free YouTube embed with a Canva thumbnail. It’s a paid video player for people already running ads to webinars and VSLs.
In-Video Conversions™ / Lead Pop™: viewer hits play immediately. No brick wall. Then the video locks. Form pops. They opt in to keep watching. You can also sell in-video — Stripe, NMI, Authorize.net. FAQ says you can’t skip past the lead form. It “truly locks.” That’s the whole trick. Everything else is garnish.
Garnish includes: first-party pixel / Signal Connect (turn your third-party pixel into a first-party pixel, they say). Off-platform video retargeting on play / 25 / 50 / 75 / 95. CAPI-ish tracking talk. DRM with “same tech as Netflix / Disney+” energy — that’s marketing, not a studio tour. CRM list a mile long (ActiveCampaign, GoHighLevel, HubSpot, Klaviyo, the usual plus Zapier). Analytics. Resume watching. Training. Inner Circle Zoom.
You cannot use an eboov video as the ad. You run an ad to a page with the player on it. They say that out loud. Good. One honest sentence.
Got it? Good.
The hostage form, in English
A squeeze page that converts 20% is a real problem. Eighty people bounce. That’s not a conspiracy. That’s an email field with a headline.
Vince’s fix is not “make the page nicer.” It’s “let them start the video, then hold the rest of it hostage.” Higher opt-in is the obvious outcome. You’re not asking a cold stranger for an email before they’ve heard a joke. You’re pausing the movie at the good part.
What that actually measures: lead conversion. Not purchase conversion. Not “79% of cold traffic bought the thing.” The ad’s 20% → 50% → 60% → 79% is the lock-the-video opt-in. The on-screen graphics (54.02% up to 79.66%) are the same sport.
More emails can be real. Lead quality is the open question. So is cost-per-sale. You can fill a list with people who would rather type their Gmail than miss the rest of a pitch, and still not bank a buyer. Pixel data might get better. Buyers might get worse. That’s the trade. Anyone selling you only one side of that trade is doing a bit.
| Claim in the ad | What it actually measures |
|---|---|
| Brick wall blocks 80% | Squeeze-page opt-in, not sales. Real bounce problem. Not a court exhibit. |
| 50–79% conversions (graphics 54.02%–79.66%) | In-video lead lock opt-in. Hostage form. Not purchase conversion. |
| 4x lead flow / 1.72 million | Vince self-report on his VSL funnel. Not independently audited here. Two Comma Club vibe. |
| 51x faster sales | Casper Method / calculator marketing. Their model funnel on the book-a-call page. Math assumptions, not a study. |
Ad LP: eboov.info/fb. Calculator: eboov.com/book-a-call-funnel. Product: eboov.com.
The 1.72 million and the 4x lead flow are Vince’s funnel claims in the ad. I’m not auditing his Stripe. I’m telling you whose mouth they came out of.
“51x faster sales” lives on the Casper Method pages like a personality. The book-a-call funnel is a model: plug in traffic, watch “your funnel” vs “eboov IVC” spit prettier profit. That’s a calculator with confidence. Not a lab.
Pricing (yes, the pages fight each other)
Homeboy cannot pick a story and sit still.
FAQ still says a standard license is 300 a month, 1TB / about 25k views, overage upgrade, monthly only, limited licenses, waitlist, ask a member for an invitation. Homepage FAQ says unlimited bandwidth and unlimited uploads. Plans page shows Silver: 1 dollar for 7 days (3 uploads) and Pro Lite: 300 a month. Max checkout: 997… today 300 a month, code MAX25 for 201 off the first month, unlimited uploads/views, no overage.
There’s also a demo / book-a-call path. Cancel in the membership area. No annual. Terms talk auto-renew, a trial that converts unless you cancel, and a first-month refund that’s conditional and discretionary — plus the Casper Method Bundle called non-refundable. Max checkout still waves a “30 Day Money back Guarantee” next to the cart. Those two documents should meet. They have not.
Pro Lite bonuses on the plans page: Blanket Method 2.0, Reverse Matrix, ad/VSL courses, Inner Circle Zoom, 25k-value mastermind language. That’s the DVD-table energy taped onto a SaaS login.
A competitor comparison page at VSLStats claims Eboov is about 47 to 97 a month and that Eboov tracking is browser-side. That page looks like competitor SEO and disagrees with Eboov’s own published 300 / 1-dollar trial. Eboov’s FAQ claims server-side tracking / CAPI. I’m not picking a winner without proof. I’m telling you the internet is lying in two directions and only one of those directions is Eboov’s own checkout.
Prefer Eboov’s published 300 a month and the 1-dollar trial. Confirm on the cart you actually see. Then screenshot it. Then screenshot it again, because this FAQ still thinks you’re on a waitlist.
| Surface | What it says | Vibe |

| Max checkout | 997… today 300/mo; MAX25 = 201 off first month; unlimited | Cart |
| VSLStats compare | ~47–97/mo; tracking called browser-side | Competitor SEO — disagrees with Eboov’s 300 |

The name-drops, with the volume down
Owned writeups on eboov.com:
- Billy Gene: 4,628 clicks → 2,339 leads = 50.54%. That’s their writeup. Leads. Not sales.
- Laurel Portié: optimizing the 50% played event, ad cost down 73%, cost per sale 30 → 8. Their writeup.
- Andrew Alexen: 1,500 in the first 24 hours, later 6-figures a month. Quote on the site. Testimonial. Self-reported.
The ad also name-drops Jason Wojo and Dan Henry. “A lot of top marketers… doing the exact same thing” / “using similar strategies” is not the same as “they endorse this checkout.” Be precise or you’re doing the collage’s job for free.
I have not been in Billy’s ads manager. I have not been in Laurel’s. Owned case studies are owned case studies. Treat them like a restaurant’s own Yelp screenshots.
This pitch is not new
December 2022 I wrote up the same brick-wall / IVC story. Example then: 61.73% opt-in. “Book a demo for pricing.” The 51x-more-offers language was already in the room. The 2026 ad is the same idea with bigger numbers and Casper Method branding.
The pitch hasn’t reinvented physics. It put a lock on the player and called the opt-in a conversion. Then it grew the graphic.
Trustpilot this pass was thin. Like, three-reviews thin. One billing complaint about getting charged 300 after trying to cancel; company replied and said they refunded two months. That’s not a chorus. That’s a harmonica.
No FTC case. No SEC case. Found none in this pass. Don’t invent a courtroom so the article feels like true crime.
Who this is for (and who should skip)
This is for you if:
- You’re already spending real money on webinar or VSL ads and your squeeze page is eating 80% of the clicks
- You understand 79% means “they typed an email to unpause the video,” not “they bought”
- 300 a month (plus ads, plus a CRM, plus whatever closer you already pay) is a rounding error, not a personality crisis
- You want a player with a mid-roll lock, in-video checkout, and a pile of pixel/retargeting claims you’ll verify in your own ads manager
Skip if:
- You don’t have a VSL or a webinar and you thought this was a free video host
- You wanted Meta native lead ads and a pretty Instant Form, not a hostage player
- You’re allergic to waitlist language that still lives on the FAQ while a 1-dollar trial sits on the plans page
- You wanted “passive income” and a password. This is paid traffic with extra steps
Verdict?
Eboov is a real product. Vince is a real operator in the paid-traffic / VSL lane, with an agency past that still talks like a bouncer. The brick-wall problem is real. The mid-roll lock is a real lever. Higher lead counts from a hostage form are not magic. They’re a trade: more emails, maybe worse buyers, maybe better pixel data.
The ad is spicy. 79% is opt-in. 1.72 million is his funnel claim. 51x is calculator marketing. Name-drops are not endorsements. Two Comma Club is a plaque you apply for. Pricing pages are in a group chat arguing with each other.
Not a scam per se. Not a 79% sales rate. Useful if you already light money on fire sending traffic to a squeeze page and you can live with a locked player. If you thought Casper Method was a new law of physics, sit down. I wrote this movie in 2022. They just turned the graphic up.
I’m good.
Q&A
Q: Is Vince Reed legit?
A: Real person. Real SoCal team page. Real software at eboov.com. Real agency past at SetUpMyAds. The 7-figure / 9-figure talk is self-reported. Two Comma Club is a ClickFunnels community award, not a forensic audit. Legit operator. Spicy ad. Those can both be true.
Q: Is Eboov a scam?
A: I didn’t find an FTC or SEC hammer. I found a hostage form, owned case studies, a calculator that says 51x, and a FAQ that still thinks you’re on a waitlist. “Oversells the conversion graphic / useful for advertisers already in the VSL lane” lives in a different zip code than “fake company.” Don’t flatten those.
Q: How much does Eboov cost?
A: Eboov’s own surfaces: about 300 a month. Plans page also has Silver at 1 dollar for 7 days (3 uploads). Max checkout is 997… today 300 a month, code MAX25 for 201 off month one. FAQ still says 300 with 1TB / ~25k views and a waitlist. Monthly only. Cancel in the membership area. VSLStats claiming 47–97 is competitor SEO — prefer Eboov’s published 300 / 1-dollar trial and confirm on the cart you see.
Q: Is the 79% a sales conversion?
A: No. Sit down. It’s in-video lead lock opt-in. Give email or the video stays paused. Purchase conversion is a different animal they are very happy to let you confuse with this one.
Q: What’s a brick wall page?
A: Vince’s nickname for a squeeze page that asks for the email before the video. He says ~80% bounce. That’s a real opt-in problem. It’s not “80% of sales vanished into a portal.”
Q: What’s the Casper Method?
A: The 2026 branding wrapped around the same IVC idea. Ad LP copy: 200% more leads, 51x faster sales, watch the video. Ghost-themed name for a player that won’t let you leave without an email. Cute.
Q: Lead Pop vs In-Video Conversions vs IVC?
A: Same sport. Video starts. Video locks. Form pops. Opt in to continue. Optional in-video sell (Stripe / NMI / Authorize.net). They trademark the phrases like they invented pausing.
Q: Did Billy Gene / Jason Wojo / Laurel Portié / Dan Henry endorse this checkout?
A: Owned writeups for Billy (50.54% leads) and Laurel (50% played event, CPS 30 → 8). Andrew Alexen testimonial on-site. Jason Wojo and Dan Henry are name-drops in the ad. “Using similar strategies” is not “they wired 300 a month and filmed a unboxing.” Don’t do the collage’s homework.
Q: Wasn’t there already an Eboov review in 2022?
A: Yeah. Mine. Zuubly, Dec 28, 2022. Same brick wall, same IVC, 61.73% opt-in example, book-a-demo for pricing. This ad is that pitch with a louder graphic and Casper Method on the label. Also: I called him a former network marketer then. Prior reporting. Not a new stakeout.
Q: Two Comma Club… that’s 8 figures, right?
A: That’s the vibe they want. In practice it’s a ClickFunnels community award you apply for, plus a plaque fee. Not a public filing. Not a CPA letter. Not me in his bank app.
Q: What’s SetUpMyAds?
A: Vince’s DFY ads/agency lane. Get-started page quals: 500k+ income, 25k+/mo ad spend, starts 15k+/mo, “SOLD OUT.” Old footer: Global Apps Network LLC. Different product from the 300-a-month player. Don’t mash the agency retainer into the SaaS login.
Q: Does the DRM actually work like Netflix?
A: They say “same technology Netflix and Disney+ use.” That’s marketing. DRM is a real category. “Pirates can’t touch this” is a slogan. Course leaks still exist as a lifestyle. File under: better than a raw MP4 sitting in a Google Drive named FINAL_FINAL2.
Q: Server-side tracking or no?
A: Eboov FAQ / Max FAQ claim server-side tracking, Conversion API, first-party pixel that “can’t be blocked like traditional third-party pixels.” VSLStats’ compare page says Eboov is browser-side only. That’s a competitor page. I don’t have a packet capture. Report the conflict. Verify in your own ads manager or you’re shopping with a haunted GPS.
Q: Annual plan? Refund?
A: FAQ: monthly only. TOS: auto-renew; trial converts unless you cancel; first-month refund is a paperwork obstacle course at their discretion; Casper Method Bundle called non-refundable. Max checkout still says 30-day money-back next to the button. Read the terms like they might bite. Because they might.
Q: Vince Reed net worth?
A: Anybody quoting a clean number is LARPing. 1.72 million is a funnel claim in an ad. Agency retainers start at 15k a month on a page that also says sold out. I can barely keep oat milk in the fridge. You think I’m opening his Charles Schwab?
Q: How do I stalk him like a normal person?
A: instagram.com/vincereedlive. Product eboov.com. Ad you’re probably seeing: eboov.info/fb. Support email on the site: support@eboov.com. Don’t Baby Reindeer the man. Watch the VSL like an adult.
Q: Who should not buy this?
A: Beginners with no offer, no ads budget, and a dream. People who heard “79%” and pictured sales. People who wanted a free player. People who wanted native Meta lead ads. If you don’t already run webinar/VSL traffic, this is a very expensive pause button.
Q: Okay but I still wanna make money online without locking strangers inside a VSL until they subscribe.
A: Wild concept: build little local websites, rank them in Google, and rent the leads to real businesses. No brick wall. No 79% graphic. No Casper. No “watch the video for access details.”
It’s about as sexy as organizing the junk drawer… which is why filthy SEO goblins like me keep doing it.
