Sandy Lee Review: Mom of 3, 50K/Mo AI Claims, and the 117/Mo Skool

Sandy Lee, founder of Slee Automation

Sandy Lee, founder of Slee Automation

Sandy Lee is the type of operator who’ll show up on a podcast as a mom of three, still working a full-time funeral-industry job, and somehow the title is “makes $50k a month with AI, no experience.”

That sentence was engineered in a lab to travel. It has more algorithm in it than a makeup tutorial that starts with “I don’t usually do this.”

Meanwhile I don’t even know what I spent on DoorDash last week, and my “AI system” is a Notes app graveyard of prompts I never ran. I have three unread Slack pings and a goblin face. She has a Koerner thumbnail.

Keep reading for my Sandy Lee / AI Content Systems review.

Income claim stamp (Aug 2026): “$50k/mo” comes from Koerner Office Ep #322 (Jul 31, 2026) — self-reported on air. A Blotato interview table for a ~$48k month includes ~$10k W-2, ~$23k sponsorships, plus consulting / Skool / app / AdSense. Do not treat the headline as pure AI SaaS MRR. Clearest public buy: Skool AI Content Systems $117/mo (~233 members on capture). Learn / Build Together on sleeautomation.com is mostly waitlist / opaque pricing.

Okay. There’s a stack hiding under that headline, and the stack includes a paycheck.

Let’s rewind.

Who even is Sandy Lee?

YouTube @sandyleeai. Email sandy@sleeautomation.com. LinkedIn: Aurora, Colorado. Day job: regional manager in funeral / preneed sales & marketing at Precoa (self; from ~Feb 2020). Still full-time, per Koerner. Mom of three kids under ~8 on that episode. Managed ~25 people / 10+ years sales-and-marketing in the interview writeups.

Origin-story lore she repeats: lived in seven countries since age 11 without parents. College poverty, $2/day, eviction, slept on a beach in Hawaii. Treat as self-reported hardship narrative, not a credit check. It’s a lot. It also does the job origin stories are hired to do.

Creator 1.0: since ~2018 she taught Korean to Spanish speakers, claims 550K+ followers across YT/IG/TikTok, Seoul Brand Ambassador / Seoul Business Agency collab framing, barely monetized (~$35k+ revenue claim on LinkedIn for that era — unaudited), burned out. Creator 2.0: reboot as AI systems / Claude Code educator. Timeline wording wobbles by interview (~6–9 months into AI depending when you listen; Blotato says channel end of December, year implied 2025). Husband-as-engineer anecdote shows up. She’s explicit she’s not a traditional developer. Builds with Claude Code, ChatGPT, n8n.

Disambiguation, because Google is drunk: this is @sandyleeai / sleeautomation.com. Not the Airbnb/STR investor “Sandy Lee.” Not Hawaii senior-living Sandra Lee marketers. Different humans. Don’t send the wrong woman your Skool receipt.

No formal CS / SEO credential. Positioning is sales operator + language creator → AI systems teacher. That’s a real path. It’s also a “I learned SEO on Upwork with ChatGPT and a Loom” path. Keep those in the same room so they can stare at each other.

But anyways. You’re here because Ep #322 said $50k/month and now there’s a Skool.

The stack (what you’re actually looking at)

  1. YouTube + free resources — sleeautomation.com/resources (email gate).
  2. Slee Studio — creator tool. Ikigai blueprint, content outlier scoring, LinkedIn engine. Pro marketed as $59/mo value when bundled. Standalone cart not cleanly public in our pass.
  3. Skool “AI Content Systems” — the clear checkout. $117/mo as of Aug 2026.
  4. Learn / Build Together — DWY-ish waitlist on sleeautomation.com. No public price. Do not invent one. I will not invent one. High-ticket maybe. Waitlist definitely.
  5. Her personal model (taught by example, not a fixed SKU): Upwork/inbound AI SEO retainers + YouTube sponsorships + AdSense + community.

Official site: sleeautomation.com — Aug 2026 capture. Homepage leans waitlist / “Build Together” more than a transparent high-ticket cart.

Clearest paid offer: Skool AI Content Systems$117/mo, ~233 members on this Aug 2026 capture. Urgency copy about $147 and ending trials is classic Skool theater — verify live.

The Upwork story (the part that’s actually transferable)

Koerner + Blotato line up here, which is more than I can say for the $50k headline.

Late 2025 (“November last year” on a Jul 2026 show): she applied to about seven Upwork jobs. First client = SEO automation for a ~$1M education-app business. Pitched with ChatGPT + a 2–3 minute Loom. Started at $3,000/mo, raised to $5,500/mo. Later said that retainer ended “last month” relative to the show. Niche tilt away from the word “AI.” Sell before you build. Classic freelance motion dressed in Claude.

That’s a good sales story. It is also a sales + Loom story more than a “Claude wrote me passive income” story. If you hate selling services, the origin myth doesn’t transfer. You don’t get the $5.5k because you joined Skool. You get it because you pitched like a regional manager who already knew how to close preneed. Different muscle.

The $50k month, unpacked like leftovers

Koerner Ep #322 published July 31, 2026: host frames “over $50,000 a month.” She screens Stripe/income on air (per transcript/description). Self-reported. Same-era claim. Not audited MRR. Do not annualize $50k × 12 unless you enjoy lying to your group chat.

Blotato published a sample-month table that lands around $48k and includes the job:

  • AI SEO consulting — $5,500 (one retainer; the Upwork origin)
  • YouTube sponsorships — $23,000 (inbound brand deals — the swing factor)
  • Full-time job — $10,000 (W-2 — not “AI business”)
  • Paid Skool community — $6,200
  • Self-built app — $2,000
  • YouTube AdSense — $1,000

Sum ~$47,700. Matches the “~$48k” narrative.

Read that again.

About $10k is salary. About $23k is sponsorships in that sample month. Sponsorships are feast/famine. They do not clone because you bought a 5-month curriculum. The leftover is consulting + Skool + a little app + ads. That’s a real mix. It is not “AI-only $50k/mo.” The headline skipped the funeral home. Headlines do that. They’re rude like that.

Whether Koerner’s “$50k” includes the W-2 the same way Blotato’s table does: not nailed down in our pack. Either way, you do not get to treat the podcast title as corroborated business MRR. Self-report. Sample month. Stack. Got it? Good.

What $117/mo actually buys

Offer What it is Public price?
Free resources Email-gated templates/tools tied to videos Free
Slee Studio Pro Creator content-ops app; often bundled $59/mo value claim; standalone cart opaque
AI Content Systems (Skool) Community + 5-month curriculum framing + weekly Q&As + tool access $117/mo (was $57/$97 historically per scrapes)
Learn / Build Together Higher-touch DWY systems / waitlist Opaque — join waitlist
“$50k/mo” lifestyle claim Personal income stack on podcasts Self-reported — not a product SKU

Prices verified from Skool about + research pack Aug 12, 2026. Confirm at checkout; Skool loves surprise raises.

Skool about pages, Aug 2026: $117/month. Scarcity copy: price “increases to $147/mon soon,” free trial “7 Days – Going to End soon.” Classic Skool urgency. Historical scrapes: $57/mo with 133 members, then $97, now $117 with ~233–255 members depending which fetch you catch. Ladder of raises. Stamp $117 as current. Confirm live. SkoolRadar floated 8 courses / 105 modules — third-party scrape, re-verify inside if you’re the syllabus type.

Sales-page packaging: Slee Studio Pro included (stated $59/mo value), 8-agent AI content pipeline, members-only templates, weekly live Q&As, full 5-month curriculum. Outcome copy: “Build a $10K+/month content business with AI in 5 months.” Value stack: “worth $20K+” plus “$5K+” bonuses. Marketing valuations. Not comps. File under value-stack theater until independent student receipts show up. We didn’t find them in this pass. I’m not inventing a student who hit $10k. Absence of drama on Trustpilot/Reddit/BBB also isn’t a guarantee. Early and small, or just not famous enough for complainers yet. Quiet ≠ proven.

Slee Studio itself: sleestudio.com. Personal brand blueprint, Content Studio outlier detection, LinkedIn Content Engine (1 URL → 6 posts + AI images), channel analysis. Built with Claude Code, Vercel, Supabase per Blotato. Early app revenue in that sample month: ~$2,000. Later hired an engineer. Related: GEO / AI-SEO audit app built on camera (~6 hrs) as content. Cool demo. Demo ≠ your business.

Self-listed: Anthropic Claude Partner Network, HubSpot, OpenArt, Semrush, Lovable, Higgsfield, etc. Logos on LinkedIn. $23k in a sponsorship month supports some paid deals. Don’t equate every logo to cash. Partner badges are not W-2s. I will die on that hill. It’s a small hill. It’s mine.

Claims vs reality

Solid-ish: YouTube ~67.6K subs scraped Aug 12, 2026 (LinkedIn “34K in 6 months” is stale). Skool membership in the mid-200s is visible. Upwork origin is consistent across interviews. Tools exist. She’s still employed and doesn’t pretend the W-2 vanished, which is weirdly refreshing in a niche where people fire themselves in the first 40 seconds of the VSL. Clear mid-ticket SKU instead of only a mystery sales call.

Soft: Annualizing $50k. Treating a sponsorship spike as a system. Calling the W-2 “AI.” Skool “$10k+/mo in 5 months” without independent case studies. Price ratchet + trial-ending theater. Opaque Build Together. Face-dependent personal-brand model (a YouTube review already argued AdSense/$10k timelines are unrealistic for most — competitor/alt-offer framing, use as a checklist, not gospel). “No SEO experience” plus ChatGPT confidence is a fun pitch for regulated/client-risk work until it isn’t.

Is it a scam?

I’m not stamping that. No FTC action. No verified scam finding. Frame: early-stage creator education + Skool membership with self-reported income. Integrity risk is the stack presentation (job + lumpy sponsors) and the member outcome claims. Editorial caution. Not a courtroom. Not a scam per se. Homeboy-over-sells energy, except it’s a mom with a Precoa badge, which makes the oversell go down easier. That’s the trick.

Who this is for (and who should bounce)

This is for you if:

  • You’re a creator / solopreneur who wants AI-assisted YouTube + content ops and will actually ship on camera
  • You’re curious about Claude Code without a CS degree
  • You’re okay paying ~$117/mo to experiment (not hunting a $9 PDF)
  • You like audience-first monetization: community, sponsors, tools

Skip it if:

  • You heard “$50k/mo with no experience” and thought that meant no sales, no content, no job. The sample month includes the job.
  • You want a transparent high-ticket DWY price before joining a waitlist. You will not get one on the homepage.
  • You need verified student earnings data before paying. Not in our pass.
  • You’re allergic to price-increase urgency and value-stack marketing. Skool is made of that.
  • You only wanted the Upwork/Loom tactics. Free YouTube + resources may already be the whole sandwich.
  • You wanted local lead-gen assets instead of an audience business. Wrong aisle.

Honest Unemployable compare

Sandy sells creator/AI content-system education. Grow a personal brand. Monetize with community / SaaS / sponsors / retainers. Heavy YouTube + Claude Code dependency. Her Upwork retainer is closer to freelancing than to owning an asset. Her Skool is classic creator education.

Unemployable is rank-and-rent / local SEO. Website landlord for local service businesses. Different skills. Different asset. If you like the “mom with a day job, limited hours” vibe but don’t wanna be on camera, chase algorithms, or sell a Skool, local lead-gen is the calmer alternative. It is not Slee Automation in a different font. Do not make me tattoo that on a ring light.

Sandy Lee / AI Content Systems Unemployable (rank-and-rent)
Asset Audience + content systems + optional retainers/sponsors Local lead websites you own / rent
Skill bottleneck Claude workflows, YouTube/LinkedIn output, soft sales Local SEO, site ops, sales to contractors
Income shape Spiky (sponsors) + retainers + community Recurring rent from businesses needing leads
Entry ticket ~$117/mo Skool (plus your time) Program ~$2,980 lifetime coaching framing
Best if you… Like building in public / AI tools Want calmer B2B lead assets, not creator fame

Different sports. Sandy’s lane is creator/AI systems; Unemployable is local SEO lead-gen. Don’t force a fake twin niche.

Verdict?

Sandy Lee is legit as a creator-teacher with a real Skool product. Not a vaporware Instagram “AI agency” screenshot account. Buy the story with skepticism on the math: Ep #322’s $50k framing is a stack, a sample ~$48k month includes about $10k of salary, and sponsorships do heavy lifting. If $117/mo for AI Content Systems matches how you already want to work (content + Claude + community), it’s a bounded experiment. If you need the podcast title to be a copy-paste income plan, you’re shopping the wrong aisle.

I’m good.

Q&A

Q: Is Sandy Lee legit?
A: Real YouTube channel (~67.6K), real Skool, real site, real W-2 she still talks about. That’s a real operator. “Legit $50k/mo AI-only business you can copy in five months”? That’s the title. Not the table.

Q: Is Sandy Lee a scam? Is AI Content Systems a scam?
A: I didn’t find FTC action or a verified scam finding. I did find self-reported income, a sample month that includes a paycheck, Skool outcome copy, and value-stack math. Not a scam per se. Definitely oversells the headline. Don’t flatten those into a crime podcast.

Q: Does she really make $50k a month with AI?
A: Self-reported on Koerner. Blotato’s ~$48k breakdown includes ~$10k W-2 and ~$23k YouTube sponsorships in that sample month. Do not treat it as verified AI-only MRR. Do not annualize it. Sponsorship months spike. Jobs are jobs. He doesn’t say — wait, she shows screens — still not an audit.

Q: How much is Sandy Lee’s course / Skool?
A: Clearest public buy: Skool AI Content Systems at $117/month (Aug 2026). Historically $57 then $97 per scrapes. Threatened $147. ~233–255 members on capture. 7-day trial marketing. Slee Studio Pro bundled as a $59/mo “value.” Build Together / Learn: waitlist, no public price. Don’t let a sales call invent a number I didn’t print.

Q: What’s Slee Studio vs Slee Automation vs the Skool?
A: Slee Studio = the creator app. Slee Automation = the brand / waitlist DWY. Skool AI Content Systems = the $117/mo community + curriculum, and the thing you can actually checkout without a séance. $50k/mo is not a product SKU. It’s a podcast.

Q: Can I really build a $10k/month content business in 5 months?
A: That’s the sales page. Independent student receipts for that claim were not in our research pass. Her own mix includes a job, inbound sponsors, and a face on camera. Copy the format if you want. Copy the outcome at your own risk. What that actually means for a lurker with 40 subscribers, nobody knows.

Q: Sandy Lee net worth?
A: No. Stop. I don’t even know what I spent on DoorDash last week. You think I’m reverse-engineering a Precoa regional manager’s brokerage account from a Stripe screen-share? Please.

Q: Who shouldn’t bother?
A: Anyone who thought “no experience” meant no selling. Anyone who needs the $50k to be AI-only. Anyone who wants verified student $10k months before paying $117. Anyone who came for local SEO and got a ring light. Also anyone who only wanted the Upwork Loom trick — that’s already on YouTube for the price of your attention span.

Q: Okay but I still wanna make money online without becoming a YouTube face and selling a Skool.
A: Wild concept: rank little local websites in Google and rent the leads to real businesses. No algorithm tantrums. No “worth $20k+” bonus stack. No funeral-industry W-2 hiding in the monthly total. (Your W-2 can stay. I’m not the boss of you.)

It’s about as sexy as alphabetizing the spice rack. Which is why filthy SEO goblins like me keep doing it instead of filming Claude Code at 11 p.m. after the kids are down.

If that quieter path sounds less insane than cloning a $50k headline, start at unemployable.org.
