Ravi Abuvala is the type of dude who’ll call himself Chief Scaling Officer, mention the plane, and then hide the price behind a “see if you qualify” button like it’s a speakeasy for funnels.
Meanwhile I don’t even know what I spent on DoorDash last week.
Also? Wrong Miami guy if you wanted eCommerce Scaling Secrets. That’s Alex Fedotoff. Shopify brand coaching. Different company. Different sport. Different entire personality disorder.
Keep reading for my Ravi Abuvala review.
Okay. There’s a lot of “systems guy” branding to unpack.
Let’s rewind.
Who even is Ravi Abuvala?
Styles himself “Chief Scaling Officer” / “the systems guy.” Public bio: Florida State University (Political Science & International Relations). Pre-law / LSAT path. Left the law-school track after his father’s cancer diagnosis — stage details differ by interview, so I’m not picking a number and pretending I was in the room.
Restaurant job. Early online hustles. Amazon FBA attempt. Then Prospect Social — Facebook ads / lead gen for real estate and local businesses (~2016–2018). Then the flagship: Scaling With Systems under OmniBuys LLC.
Florida LLC filed Feb 5, 2018. Miami mailing address on the privacy footer (2121 Biscayne Blvd #1836). Authorized member: Abuvala, Ravi. Entity + address are the hard signals. The plane, the six-hour workdays, the eight-figure portfolio talk on raviabuvala.com? Self-reported lifestyle packaging. File next to the vision board.
Site / LinkedIn meta claim ~40–50 people. Client-count claims bounce around like a pinball: personal site 2,000+, About 2,390+, FAQ 1,200+ entrepreneurs / 1,000+ businesses and $25M+ high-ticket sales via “their system.”
Those numbers conflict across pages. He doesn’t reconcile it. What that actually means, nobody knows.
No CPA. No legal license. Credibility = operator + content brand + company-size claims. Press bios like to name-drop Fox / Forbes / Entrepreneur. Secondary reviewers have noted those features are hard to verify. Treat media flex carefully. ThriveGlobal-core energy is not a 10-K.
But anyways, enough judging the plane. You’re here because a VSL told you the funnel pays for itself in 30 days… or you don’t pay.
Cute headline.

What Scaling With Systems sells today
Current pitch: hybrid done-for-you consulting around the Self-Sustaining Funnel™. Ads, funnel, follow-up, sales script tailored to your offer. Plus Slack, 1:1 calls, and systems spanning acquisition → fulfillment → hiring/management.
Homepage H1: DFY marketing that “pays for itself in 30 days — or you don’t pay.” FAQ: ~7-day launch on their comparison table / average ~22 days to full system live. About-page ROAS poetry about $1 in → $7–$10 out every 6.5 days.
Marketing math. Not your P&L. Not a notarized hug.
Official FAQ quals (Aug 2026 fetch): coaches, consultants, agency owners, or online service providers at ≥$5,000/month selling something ≥$2,000. FINRA-restricted advertisers get an ad-account exclusion. That’s more honest than “anyone with Wi-Fi,” I’ll give ’em that.
Related ladder — don’t mash eras: Scaling School (membership), VIP Day (1:1 with Ravi, traditionally Miami), SWS Live (Miami event), and older Remote Integrator Academy (ops/integrator job-style training). RIA is not the same as buying SWS to scale your own agency. Historical labels like Prospect Social, “Scaling Initiative,” and SWS 3.0 show up in older reviews like ghosts at a reunion.
This is not a $997 binge-watch course. The site basically says that out loud. “If you’re looking for something for $997, look elsewhere.”
Got it? Good.
Pricing (hidden behind a call, obviously)
Homepage FAQ “How Much Does It Cost?” lists no number. Vibe is “not $997; multiple packages; book a call.” No public cart for core SWS. Homeboy hides the price. Classic.
Third-party / historical cites (not official checkout):
- Reevyew and Ippei (May 2026) commonly cite ~$12,000
- AllPros range roughly $6,800–$25,000; student quotes ~$12k + $10k+ ad spend
- Second-hand sales-call quotes around ~$20,000; RIA historically ~$6.8k–$7.5k
- VIP Day funnel snippets: $20,000, often with a Scaling School trial path (~$97/mo on some surfaces; other cites conflict — verify live)
- Ravi’s LinkedIn has described client work at $10k–$50k price points
Rule: core SWS isn’t publicly listed. Third parties commonly cite ~$12k with packages mid-four to low-five figures. VIP Day has been listed at $20k. Ad spend is extra. Confirm on the call and in the contract. Then confirm again. Then screenshot the SOW like you’re documenting a crime scene, because Slack access “ending when time is up” is a recurring complaint theme.
| Offer | What it is | Public price? |
|---|---|---|
| Scaling With Systems (core) | Hybrid DFY / DWY client-acquisition: Self-Sustaining Funnel™, ads, follow-up, sales process, Slack + calls | Opaque — book-a-call; FAQ rejects $997 shoppers |
| Third-party price band | Common review cites for core / packages | ~$12k common; range ~$6.8k–$25k / ~$20k call quotes — third-party |
| VIP Day | Private day with Ravi; often bundled Scaling School trial | $20,000 on VIP funnel snippets |
| Scaling School | Membership / mid-ticket ladder | Conflicting $97 / $497 / annual cites — confirm live |
| Remote Integrator Academy | Ops/integrator skills training (separate product) | Historically call-gated ~$7k + tripwires — confirm if open |
| Ad spend / VAs | Media + labor to run the machine | Extra — often thousands/month |
| “Pays for itself in 30 days” | Homepage / LinkedIn guarantee language | FAQ is not a simple MBG — iterate until it works; contract = call-only |
Core SWS price rows are third-party / opaque because the official FAQ still routes you to a sales call. VIP Day $20k is from official funnel snippets — re-check before wiring.
What’s included vs what’s still on you
Current stack (homepage / FAQ): offer design, Self-Sustaining Funnel™ build (VSL, ad copy, assets, campaign setup, testing), private Slack (M–F support claimed), 1:1 calls, case-study library / community, optional live events. Positioning: less module binge, more “team builds assets with you.”
Still on you: a sellable offer. Ad spend. Sales calls. Closing (or closers). Fulfillment capacity. Managing humans when Slack goes quiet. Older packaging also floated VA placement, ScaleX tracking, and integrator seats — sometimes as upsells. Read the SOW. Then read it again in a font that doesn’t make you sleepy.
Guarantee honesty: marketing says pays-for-itself / or-you-don’t-pay. FAQ “What If I’m Not Happy?” is closer to “we iterate until the campaign works; if you want more assurances, maybe entrepreneurship isn’t for you.”
That’s not a refund. That’s a pep talk with a receipt.
Contractual refunds = sales-call / contract only. H1 ≠ universal MBG. Don’t buy a headline.
Claims vs proof
Owned proof is loud: $25M+, 1,000+ / 1,852 “wins,” 54+ case studies, testimonials into 2026, newsletter subscriber claims (site talks 120,000+ on Scaling Scoop), on-site Trustpilot widget around 4.8/5 from 125+.
Live Trustpilot snippets in this pass sat nearer ~4.5/5 with ~190 reviews. Surfaces disagree. Re-check. Company posts long rebuttals on negatives — ROAS claims, contract end dates, “no call no campaign.”
Counterweight: AllPros ~4.2/5 includes harsh 1★ stories. ~$12k + heavy ads → zero customers. Slack removed without warning. VA never delivered. Surprise charges after the engagement. Aggregated Reddit themes (via secondary scrapes) skew negative on RIA placement and sales-call pressure. I’m not inventing a Reddit chorus; the indexed pile this pass was thin and mostly second-hand.
No FTC action against Ravi / OmniBuys / SWS found here. Older “98% success” pitch lines = rhetoric, not science. Don’t treat owned case studies like a lab.
Complaints and the TCPA docket
Recurring negative themes (Trustpilot / AllPros / secondary Reddit — paraphrase only): overpromise vs delivery. Slack ending when “time was up.” Billing after the engagement. DFY that felt like homework videos. Wrong-fit enrollment (no business / no assets still sold). VA markup controversy on the RIA side — critics claimed ~$1k/mo charged vs ~$250 cost. Not independently audited. File under “people are mad about the labor arbitrage.”
Verified docket: Prosky v. Omnibuys LLC d/b/a Scaling With Systems, S.D. Fla. 1:23-cv-23914, filed Oct 13, 2023, terminated Nov 21, 2023. Alleged FTSA / TCPA class claims re unsolicited sales calls / texts. Voluntarily dismissed without prejudice.
Not a liability finding. Not a damages judgment. Filed ≠ guilty. Don’t invent extra lawsuits so the article feels spicier. Also: do not conflate OmniBuys with BBB Scam Tracker entities named Scaling With Sales / Setters. Those are different animals with similar “Scaling With” energy, which is how Google ruins lives.
Who this is for (and who should run)
This is for you if:
- You already sell a high-ticket coaching / consulting / agency offer (~$2k+) at roughly $5k–$10k+/mo
- You’ll run paid ads and take sales calls without crying into a Yeti
- Five figures + media budget won’t torch runway
- You want hybrid execution (Slack, assets, specialists) more than a DIY module library
Skip if:
- You’re a beginner with no offer, no audience, no revenue. Multiple complaints say people like that still got sold. Don’t be the anecdote.
- You want passive “do nothing” marketing. This is campaigns, calls, VAs, Slack.
- You’re in the $997 aisle. Official FAQ told you to leave. Listen.
- You thought this was Shopify ecom coaching (Fedotoff / ESS) or local SEO rank-and-rent
- You’re FINRA-flavored / heavily regulated. They even say that.
| Scaling With Systems | Unemployable | |
|---|---|---|
| Model | Scale your service/coaching business via ads, funnels, closers, Slack systems | Build local SEO lead-gen sites and rent leads to local businesses |
| CapEx vibe | High ticket (often five figures, third-party) + ongoing ads/VA/software | ~$2,980 lifetime education; site build/rank costs are the main spend |
| Daily work | Campaigns, Slack, sales ops, fulfillment systems | Niche research, site build, SEO, relationships with local buyers |
| Passivity claim | Marketed as automated; still management-heavy | More asset-like once ranked — still not forever “set and forget” |
| Best if you want… | A high-ticket offer scaled with paid traffic + ops help | Inbound local demand without becoming a mini ad agency |
Verdict?
SWS is a real OmniBuys / Miami product in the high-ticket hybrid DFY lane for operators who already have something to sell. Funnel pitch, company footprint, and two-sided review volume beat pure vaporware. Opaque sales-call pricing, soft-then-hard guarantee language, ad-spend reality, conflicting social-proof numbers, and “paid a fortune / Slack kicked / zero customers” stories are why you don’t buy on vibes.
Worth it for the right operator with cash, an offer, and stomach for paid traffic. Expensive theater for beginners who got warm-messaged into “seeing if they qualify.”
Not a scam per se. I see no FTC hammer. The TCPA case was filed and then voluntarily dismissed. Homeboy oversells the guarantee, hides the price, and the client-count math can’t sit still. That’s a different zip code than “this is a fake company.”
If you already run a real service business and can afford ads plus a five-figure engagement, SWS is that sport. If you wanted “online income” without a Slack full of specialists, local rank-and-rent is a calmer, different game. Not a clone. Not a Self-Sustaining Funnel™ with a nicer font.
I’m good.
Q&A
Q: Is Ravi Abuvala legit?
A: Real FL LLC (OmniBuys, 2018), real Miami footprint, real review volume in both directions. “Book the call and get rich in 30 days”? Lol. No.
Q: Is Scaling With Systems a scam?
A: I didn’t find FTC enforcement. I did find opaque pricing, guarantee-vs-FAQ mismatch, 1★ delivery/billing stories, and a dismissed TCPA docket. “Oversells / fit-dependent / not for beginners” lives in a different zip code than “proven scam with a consent order.” Don’t flatten those.
Q: How much does Scaling With Systems cost?
A: Official site won’t say. Third parties commonly cite ~$12k, with packages reportedly $6.8k–$25k and call quotes around $20k. VIP Day listed at $20k on funnel snippets. Ad spend extra. Confirm in the contract or you’re shopping with a haunted GPS.
Q: Is this eCommerce Scaling Secrets?
A: No. That’s Alex Fedotoff / Shopify brand coaching. Ravi is ads + funnels + systems for coaches, consultants, agencies. Same city energy, different product. Also not “Scaling With Sales / Setters” BBB noise.
Q: What’s the “pays for itself in 30 days” thing?
A: Homepage marketing. FAQ is closer to iterate-until-it-works, and if you want more assurances maybe don’t be an entrepreneur. H1 ≠ universal money-back guarantee. Read the contract like it might bite.
Q: Did they get sued?
A: Prosky v. Omnibuys, S.D. Fla. 1:23-cv-23914. TCPA/FTSA claims. Filed Oct 2023, voluntarily dismissed without prejudice Nov 2023. Filed ≠ found liable. Don’t invent a damages judgment.
Q: Trustpilot?
A: Owned widget has claimed ~4.8/125+. Live snippets this pass were nearer ~4.5/~190. Strong average, material negatives, company rebuttals. AllPros is harsher. Re-check live. Day-one 5-stars are a lifestyle in this industry. Shocking, I know.
Q: What’s Ravi’s net worth?
A: Plane lore and eight-figure portfolio talk are self-reported. Anybody quoting a clean NW is LARPing. I can barely find time to wipe pee off the toilet seat. You think I’m auditing OmniBuys?
Q: Who shouldn’t bother?
A: Beginners. $997 shoppers. Passive-income tourists. People who won’t take sales calls. Anyone who thought this was Shopify coaching or local SEO. If the FAQ quals don’t describe you, believe the FAQ more than the closer.
Q: Okay but I still wanna make money online without becoming a mini ad agency with a Slack full of specialists.
A: Wild concept: build little local websites, rank them in Google, and rent the leads to real businesses. No “see if you qualify.” No $12k mystery box. No “or you don’t pay” H1 that turns into a pep talk in the FAQ.
It’s about as sexy as organizing your sock drawer… which is why filthy SEO goblins like me keep doing it.
